GSE has traditionally run its showcase in June, we are moving the event to July...with a twist! This event will be run Wednesday July 8th and Thursday July 9th. We understand weekdays can be tough, but the college coaches love them...which means more coaches on site, especially with our Team Camp structure.
"Team Camps" are pretty common down south and we are looking to bring this event structure to New England. At a showcase team camp, the college coaches stay at the fields and the teams move around. In this environment you will see 2-3 college coaches on each field in addition to any coaches who are there to watch from the sidelines. The teams will move around to the locations so they get a chance to play in front of a large number of the college coaches that are on the fields during the games.
Each team will play 5 showcase games with coaches on the field. These games will occur on Wednesday July 8th and Thursday July 9th, with an individual player camp on Tuesday July 7th.
This structure does a few things... #1 maximum exposure to the coaches in attendance. #2 Gives your team a chance to add an additional exposure event during the week. #3 Gives you the weekend to play in another event and maximize showcase opportunities.
(We are taking 30 teams total. No limit per age group. This is open to 14U-18U)
Additionally, there will be an individual showcase camp on Tuesday 7/7/26. Last year we had 15+ coaches in attendance for this event which includes skill and drills and 2 live games with the coaches on the field. You can register for this camp at www.gsesportsnh.com.
This Team Camp structure is very popular around the country, we think it will be a great addition to the many offerings up here in New England!

- Each team pays cash to the umpires at the pre-game meeting prior to the start of the game.
- See the Event Info above for the cost for this event.
- In tournaments, teams pay for all games EXCEPT the finals. The tournament host pays for the umpires used in the finals.
- Pay-at-the-plate has become the standard across the region.
- Pay-at-the-plate is a fairer system, as weaker teams no longer subsidize stronger teams that play more games during bracket play.
- Teams do not need to collect as much money early in the season from parents due to the much lower event entry fees.
- When a tournament gets shortened due to weather, teams will no longer lose money for games not played.
- Umpires do not refund payments for games shortened by weather or other reasons. If shortened or postponed games are restarted, teams do not have to pay umpires again.
